Created to help raise money for local charities, the Sportsmen’s Golf Tournament is more casual than the Las Palomas Anniversary Tournament; it’s known for touting the benefits of Bloody Mary’s before tee-off! Participants at this Rocky Point event are a jovial bunch, understanding that this tournament is mostly for the fun, even if there are some prizes issued, and they are here for the charities. There’s something wonderful about getting to spend a day on a high quality golf course, and the celebrations begin immediately after the first players leave the green and head to the clubhouse.
