To date, more than 2350 electric bills have been collected in Puerto Peñasco from people who object current electricity rates. Furthermore, the local chamber of commerce ( CANACO ) convention and visitors Bureau ( OCV ) and the City Hall have all expressed their support for the movimiento’s goals.
Perla Rodriguez leader of the community group created just month and half ago, indicates the movement’s goal is to meet with people who object to current electric rates ( wish is the majority ) in Puerto Peñasco. The goal is to reach the Secretary of Energy in order to lay out the prevaling situation of discontent.
