Every year, thousands of people descend upon the Rocky Point area to embark on a challenge like no other… A challenge that tests the mind, body, and soul of every competitor to step up to the plate, and I’m talking about none other than the Rocky Point Triathlon! Events in Mexico are for everyone!
The Rocky Point triathlon promises to not only be one of the most difficult challenges you could face during your life, but also one of the most rewarding! There are three different options available for those of all varying skill levels and abilities, so don’t be afraid to join in on the fun if you’re not necessarily a “pro”. If you’re a beginner to the triathlon scene and just want to gain experience, then we would highly recommend checking out the sprint course that features a 500-meter swim, 9.4-mile bike ride, and 3.1-mile run. For those who are looking for the full traditional experience, then the Olympic course is the one for you: a 1000-meter swim accompanied by a 26-mile bike ride, and a 6.2-mile run. Events in Mexico has something for everyone!
One of the best things about competing in the Rocky Point Triathlon is that you will be doing so while surrounded by much of the incredible natural beauty that the Rocky Point area has to offer! The swimming portion of the event takes place in the sparkling clear waters of the Sea of Cortez, and transitions to perfectly flat resort roads on the biking portion. Last but not least, the run takes place on the beautiful rolling cart paths of the resort golf course, and with the finish line right on the beach itself! Check out the Mexico events for you!
