The sun will always be shining in this charming 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom casita in the gated community of Las Conchas - even though the name translates to “sunset!”  Throughout this beautiful Spanish style home, you will find many sun replicas smiling cheerfully down on you, keeping the home bright even on the darkest nights.  And of all our Rocky Point rentals, this one will speak to you the loudest.  “Welcome home,” it says. Bienvenido a casa!

Venetian plastered walls, in a warm clay color, adorned with suns, crosses, and hearts, are the first sign that you have walked into something special, and not just another sterile condo that is "just a place to sleep at night."  An arched entryway, tiled in homemade Spanish style, invites you to venture further into one of the most beautiful vacation rentals in Rocky Point, and of course you do - it would be rude not to!

In the living room, although the plush leather couches and television with DVR player are new, you can almost hear history whispering around you in the creative and well placed accessories: an oil painting of a Spanish Galleon hanging on the wall, small wood and glass tables with a cross embedded under the glass, fat silver candle holders lovingly placed upon a shelf with books, figurines and other symbols of a life well lived. 

The dining area, strategically placed for the best view of the Sea of Cortez, contains a heavy wooden dining set, capable of seating 6 which continues the sun theme, found here in the carving on the back of the head chair.  The fully equipped kitchen is large and bright, and filled with Spanish style cabinets in dark wood, tile countertops, and its own breathtaking view of the sea that rests against the sandy beach of your backyard.  Wooden beams above and clay tiles below add to the ambience of old world beauty; this is the kitchen you never knew you wanted, but will be dreaming about the rest of your life.

The first master bedroom is a room filled with light.  Spacious, yet cozy, you will sleep well on the king-sized premium mattress you find in here.  The master bath has more of the Venetian plaster walls, tiled walls in the shower, and more sun knickknacks displayed on the wooden cabinet that is both charming and functional.  The sun shines brightly in the second master bedroom in the form of a carving that serves as a headboard on the queen sized bed, covered in richly colored high thread count linens. Have no fear that you won't be able to sleep though, no matter how brightly this sun shines; there will be no glare in the dark of night as you are sleeping peacefully in this cozy room.
 

Sunset

Many, if not all, of your evenings spent in the most welcoming of all our vacation rentals in Rocky Point should be spent relaxing under the covered patio, watching the fiery beauty of a south of the border sunset.  Why would you want to go anywhere else when the Sea of Cortez is the playground in your backyard?  The heart of this quaint seaside village is just a short distance from your front door, but the beauty you behold from your back door will most likely keep you from wandering too far away from your FMI Rentals vacation home away from home.  Viva La Mexico!
