Juan returned to Tepeyac Hill where he saw the Virgin Mary. Juan only saw roses in the place where a cactus once stood. Juan brought the roses to the bishop and showed the bishop an image of the Lady of Guadalupe on his cloak. The bishop was convinced and built a church where the event occurred.
