Candy Cake Breakfast and Dessert is a cafe and bakery in Rocky Point. All of their dishes use fresh ingredients and they prepare salsa fresh in the restaurant each day. Their breakfast is popular for its omelets with fresh salsa, waffles, fresh squeezed orange juice, and coffee. They also have a large selection of fresh pastries to go. Candy Cake Breakfast and Dessert is located at Calle Lázaro Cárdenas del Río and they are cash only. The bakery and cafe is open from 7:30 a.m. – 9 p.m., they serve breakfast from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., and lunch from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Panadería Cornejo
Pandería Cornejo is a bakery and grocery store located in Rocky Point. For more than 50 years, the bakery has been serving fresh-made pan dulce, rolls, white bread, and cream-filled pastries making it one of the oldest bakeries in the city. In addition to pastries, fresh loaves of bread, cinnamon rolls, and apple fritters Pandería Cornejo also sells milk, chocolate, fruits, and veggies.
There are two locations in Rocky Point, one located on Ignacio Comonfort between Javier Mina and Juventino Rosas and one on Ave. Puerta de Ensenada 388. The Puerta de Ensenada location is open Monday – Saturday from 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. The Ignacio Comonfort location is open Monday – Saturday from 6:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Kaffeehaus
Kaffeehaus is a German bakery serving authentic Mexican breakfast and brunch dishes as well as classic German dishes in Rocky Point. The inside of the restaurant can seat around 35 – 40 people so there can be a wait during busy hours, they also have a few tables outdoors. In addition to breakfast and brunch, they also have a full pastry counter with homemade apple strudel, German chocolate cake, and muffins.
Kaffhaus is located on Blvd. Benito Juárez García near the Monumento El Ancla. It is open Monday – Saturday from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. and on Sunday from 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
